New Delhi, May 17: The Haryana police are facing intense scrutiny following the murder of a woman in Karnal and a subsequent shootout in Jhajjar. Both the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Congress have shared a video of the Jhajjar incident, asserting that the state is now under the control of gangsters rather than the rule of law.
The Congress party posted on its official X handle, stating, “Jungle Raj in Haryana. A car stopped, 3-4 individuals emerged, and opened fire, killing a young man. This shocking scene reflects the collapse of the system in Haryana.”
The party further criticized the ruling BJP, claiming, “The BJP has imposed jungle raj everywhere, where gunfire is rampant, murders occur, and kidnappings take place while the government stands by as a spectator. This is the BJP model, allowing criminals to operate freely, forcing people to live in fear.”
Similarly, the Aam Aadmi Party took to X, stating, “In Haryana, it appears that gangsters now rule as the law has vanished. The government led by Naib Singh Saini has completely failed to curb crime. Another video of a shootout has gone viral today. Gunfire is a daily occurrence on the streets, and criminals fear no law. Under BJP rule, Haryana’s law and order has completely collapsed.”
AAP leader Anurag Dhanda also commented, “A video of another open shootout in Haryana has gone viral today. Chief Minister Naib Singh has completely failed to maintain law and order.”
Reports indicate that in the village of Subana in Jhajjar district, assailants shot a young man last night. The deceased has been identified as Hitesh, also known as Golu. The notorious Rohit Godara gang has reportedly claimed responsibility for the murder.
Previously, AAP leader Anurag Dhanda shared a video of an incident in Karnal, stating, “Under the BJP government, law and order has completely deteriorated. People are shot openly, while Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini is busy with politics in other states. A woman was shot in broad daylight in Karnal. Haryana has plummeted to the lowest rank in the country regarding women’s safety.”
