Ranchi, April 2: On the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, a special enthusiasm among devotees is palpable across the country. The festival is celebrated on Chaitra Purnima, marking the birth of Lord Hanuman. In Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, devotees flocked to various Hanuman temples from early morning for prayers and darshan.

Gopal Kumar Soni, speaking at an ancient temple, extended his best wishes to everyone, stating, “On this auspicious occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, people have come to seek blessings from Lord Hanuman. We hope that his grace remains with all.”

Another devotee shared, “Today, we celebrate his birth and perform rituals. Lord Hanuman fulfills all wishes.”

A different devotee added, “He was born on Purnima. I wish for the happiness of my family and all citizens of the country. Best wishes to everyone.”

Meanwhile, in Jodhpur, the excitement for Hanuman Jayanti was equally vibrant. A grand procession was held from the Shiv Temple in Ratanada, attracting a large crowd. The procession featured beautiful religious tableaux, with prayers for peace and prosperity for the nation and the world.

On this occasion, Manisha Pawar, Omkar Verma, and Kunti Devda shared their thoughts. Kunti Devda remarked, “We welcome all festivals, whether it is Gangaur or any other. We desire peace and harmony in India. With tensions in countries like Iran, Israel, and the USA, may the blessings of Lord Hanuman, the remover of crises, be upon us. Let war be averted and peace prevail globally.”

Omkar Verma also expressed his sentiments, saying, “Best wishes to everyone on Hanuman Jayanti. Lord Hanuman is known as Sankat Mochan. Today, the world faces various challenges. We pray to Lord Hanuman to remove all obstacles.”

Manisha Pawar added, “Heartfelt wishes to everyone on Hanuman Jayanti. A procession was held from Shiv Temple Ratanada to the ancient temple at Circuit House. It was conducted very well. May his grace remain with us all.”
