Ahmedabad, May 12: Gujarat Titans have set a target of 169 runs for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 56th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, held at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Tuesday. Both teams are eager to secure a win to solidify their chances of making it to the playoffs.
After losing the toss, Gujarat Titans batted first, scoring 168 runs while losing 5 wickets. The team’s start was poor, losing captain Shubman Gill (5) and Jos Buttler (7) by the time the score reached just 26 runs.

Washington scored 50 runs off 33 balls, featuring 8 boundaries. For Sunrisers Hyderabad, Saqib Hussain and Praful Hinge took 2 wickets each, while captain Pat Cummins claimed 1 wicket.
Gujarat Titans currently sit third in the points table with 7 wins out of 11 matches, holding a net run rate of +0.228. Sunrisers Hyderabad also has 7 victories but ranks second due to a better net run rate of +0.737.
