Jaipur, May 10: The Gujarat Titans (GT) have etched their name in Indian Premier League (IPL) history by achieving their largest victory by runs. On Saturday, they defeated the Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 77 runs in the 52nd match of IPL 2026.
Previously, the Titans secured a 62-run win against the Mumbai Indians in a qualifier match in 2023. In 2022, they also claimed victory over the Lucknow Super Giants by the same margin. In 2025, they triumphed over the Rajasthan Royals by 58 runs, having already beaten the Lucknow Super Giants by 56 runs in 2023.
This match marks the fourth-largest defeat by runs for the Rajasthan Royals in IPL history. They suffered a 112-run loss to the Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2023 and faced a 100-run defeat against the Mumbai Indians in 2025. In 2021, the Gujarat Titans lost to the Kolkata Knight Riders by 86 runs.
