
Bengaluru, April 24: In the 34th match of IPL 2026, Gujarat Titans (GT) faced off against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at M. Chinnaswamy Cricket Stadium on Friday. Batting first, GT scored an impressive 205 runs while losing 3 wickets in their 20 overs.
RCB captain Rajat Patidar won the toss and invited Gujarat Titans to bat first. GT started strong, with Shubman Gill and Sai Sudarshan forming a century partnership for the first wicket. The opening duo put together 128 runs in just 12.4 overs. Gill played the anchor role, while Sudarshan showcased an aggressive batting style. Gill scored 32 runs off 24 balls before being dismissed by Suyash Sharma.
Sudarshan continued his brilliant innings, completing his century in 57 balls. He played a remarkable knock of 100 runs at a strike rate of 172, hitting 11 fours and 5 sixes. Jos Buttler, batting at number three, contributed 25 runs off 16 balls.
Washington Sundar remained unbeaten with 19 runs from 12 balls. In the final overs, Jason Holder played a fiery innings, scoring 23 runs off just 10 balls at a strike rate of 230, including one four and two sixes. For RCB, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Josh Hazlewood, and Suyash Sharma each took one wicket.
