Gujarat Craft Industries jumps on planning to start new unit at North Gujarat

Gujarat Craft Industries is currently trading at Rs. 80.70, up by 2.11 points or 2.68% from its previous closing of Rs. 78.59 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 78.59 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 88.00 and Rs. 78.50 respectively. So far 3413 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group ‘X’ stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 129.40 on 15-Sep-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 68.00 on 19-Jun-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 88.00 and Rs. 71.01 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 39.11 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 73.83%, while Non-Institutions held 26.17% stake in the company.

Gujarat Craft Industries is planning to start a new unit located at Budasan, Kadi, North Gujarat for manufacturing its existing line of product i.e. Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBC). This will increase the company’s FIBC production capacity by 200 MT, yet overall capacity will be the same. The Management expects to commence operations at the new unit shortly.

Gujarat Craft Industries (GCIL) is one of the leading manufactures & exporters of P P Woven bag (polypropylene bags), P E Tarpaulin (plastic sheetings) in India. It also supplying plastic tents for shelter purpose to Unicef, Red Cross, etc.
