Gujarat Chief Minister Engages with Booth Workers During PM Modis Mann Ki Baat Broadcast

Ahmedabad, August 30: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel participated in the 137th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program on Sunday. He joined booth-level workers, local leaders, and residents in the Thaltej area of Ahmedabad. The event focused on grassroots participation, youth involvement, and initiatives related to nation-building.

Patel attended a collective listening session at booth number 172 in the Thaltej ward of his constituency, Ghatlodia. This gathering was part of similar events held across Gujarat, where party leaders, elected representatives, workers, and citizens tuned in to the monthly radio address.

During the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program, PM Modi highlighted grassroots initiatives related to technology, social work, and entrepreneurship. He emphasized the importance of public participation in the country’s development. The Prime Minister urged citizens to adopt a positive mindset and contribute to nation-building.

He stressed the ‘Vocal for Local’ initiative and called for increased support for local products, indigenous goods, arts, and culture in the pursuit of a self-reliant India. The discussion also shed light on new experiments, startups, and the use of technology in various sectors.

PM Modi drew attention to successful initiatives related to cleanliness, environmental protection, and ‘Nari Shakti’ or women’s empowerment. He praised local farmers for adopting modern and traditional farming methods.

A key focus of the address was the need to keep youth away from substance abuse. PM Modi made a special appeal to accelerate the ‘Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan’ (Drug-Free India Campaign), encouraging the youth to stay away from drugs and contribute to building a developed India.

The Prime Minister also mentioned the ‘Bharatarajya’ website created by Krishna Sheshadri, appreciating this initiative that utilizes technology to make India’s history more accessible.

Chief Minister Patel listened to the program with booth workers and local residents, reiterating the importance of spreading the messages conveyed through ‘Mann Ki Baat’ to the people of Gujarat. He described the program as a source of inspiration, energy, and a commitment to nation-building.

A large number of booth workers, officials, and residents attended the gathering in Thaltej. Throughout Gujarat, the BJP organized community-centric programs involving various groups, including youth, farmers, professionals, and women, alongside the broadcast.
