Gandhinagar, May 6: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) announced the results of the 10th board examinations on Wednesday. This year, the overall pass percentage stands at 83.86%, which is an increase of approximately 0.78% compared to last year. The announcement has sparked joy and excitement among the successful students and their families.
Once again, girls have outperformed boys, achieving a pass percentage of 88.28%, which is considered commendable. Looking at district-wise results, Narmada district topped the list with a pass rate of 90.85%. In contrast, Panchmahal district showed relatively weaker performance, with a pass percentage of 76.42%.
Several examination centers also excelled. The Anjol center in Gandhinagar achieved a remarkable 100% pass rate, surprising many. On the other hand, the Munkhola center in Dahod recorded the lowest performance, with only 33.74% of students passing.
Additionally, around 130 schools across the state achieved a 100% pass rate, marking a significant accomplishment. However, three schools reported that not a single student passed, raising concerns.
Rajkot district also performed well this year, with an 88.11% pass rate, up from 87.19% last year.
Students can check their results by entering their 7-digit seat number on the official board website. The online mark sheet will appear immediately after entering the seat number. Furthermore, results can also be accessed via WhatsApp. Students need to save the number 6357300971 on their mobile phones and send their seat number to that number. The result will be received as a message within seconds.
