Grief Strikes Family of BJP Leaders PA After Tragic Murder

New Delhi, May 7: The political landscape in West Bengal has become tense following the shocking murder of Chandranath Rath, the personal assistant to BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari. BJP officials have accused the Trinamool Congress (TMC) of failing to maintain law and order in the state. The victim’s family is demanding severe punishment for those responsible for the crime.

Chandranath’s younger brother, Dev Kumar, expressed the family’s devastation over the incident. He revealed that their last conversation took place around 2 PM the day before, just before Chandranath left for Kolkata.

Dev Kumar emphasized that Chandranath had no personal enemies. He noted that even during the violent aftermath of the 2021 assembly elections, Chandranath urged people to maintain peace. The family insists that he always advocated for non-violence and encouraged others to foster a peaceful environment.

In an emotional plea, Dev Kumar stated that anyone involved in planning this murder should face the harshest penalties. He called on the authorities for a fair investigation and swift arrests of the culprits.

BJP leaders have raised concerns about the deteriorating law and order situation in West Bengal. Upendra Kushwaha, a Member of Parliament from the National Lok Morcha, remarked that the atmosphere of violence in the state has persisted for too long, leaving the public frustrated. Incidents of political violence have been recurrent in the region.

BJP leader Dilip Jayaswal described the murder as tragic, asserting that TMC’s “goondaism” is nearing its end. He claimed that the government would take stringent action in this case, ensuring that the perpetrators would not escape justice.

Uttar Pradesh government minister Om Prakash Rajbhar stated that the people of West Bengal have supported the BJP to improve law and order and ensure public safety. He promised that after the government is formed, criminals would be identified and brought to justice.

Minister Narendra Kumar Kashyap from Uttar Pradesh asserted that once the BJP government is in place, there will be strict control over crime and political violence in the state. The murder has heightened tensions in West Bengal’s political arena, and investigations are ongoing.
