Government Implements Comprehensive System for Underprivileged Groups: Dr. Jitendra Singh

New Delhi, April 25: The central government has established a comprehensive system to provide support and guidance from childhood for Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and other underprivileged groups. This statement was made by Dr. Jitendra Singh, the Minister of State for Science and Technology, on Saturday. He emphasized that the government’s goal is to empower these communities by offering support from an early age.

While inaugurating the Jammu and Kashmir chapter of the Dr. Ambedkar Chamber of Commerce at Jammu University, the minister stated that it is now time for marginalized sections of society to not solely rely on government jobs but to also venture into entrepreneurship and investment. He urged individuals to take advantage of the schemes being implemented under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership to start their own businesses.

Dr. Singh highlighted that the government has created a system for underprivileged groups that provides guidance and assistance from childhood. He also mentioned that several key government initiatives have been launched with a focus on social and economic development.

He referenced the Prime Minister’s Jan Dhan Yojana, which has made banking facilities accessible to the general public. Additionally, the Prime Minister’s Mudra Yojana has facilitated easy loans for small business owners, enabling them to start their ventures. Furthermore, the PM Vishwakarma Yojana aims to provide sustainable employment while preserving traditional skills.

The minister noted that the positive impacts of these schemes are beginning to manifest. According to data, the economic status of Dalits and other underprivileged groups has improved, along with an increased desire for advancement.

He further stated that individuals from ordinary backgrounds are now performing well in competitive exams for civil services, reflecting the growing empowerment within society.

Dr. Singh expressed the government’s intention to expand the reach of these schemes so that more people can benefit and contribute to the country’s development.
