New Delhi, May 21: The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has announced the opening of 118 professor positions across various departments at ESIC PGIMSR and ESIC Medical Colleges. This recruitment drive is aimed at filling teaching faculty roles through an official notification.
The available positions include 7 in Anatomy, 7 in Anesthesiology, 4 in Biochemistry, 7 in Community Medicine, 1 in Dermatology, 6 in Emergency Medicine, 5 in Forensic Medicine and Toxicology (FMT), 8 in General Medicine, 8 in General Surgery, 7 in Microbiology, 4 in Ophthalmology, 8 in Orthopedics, 2 in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT), 6 in Pediatrics, 6 in Pathology, 5 in Pharmacology, 2 in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, 5 in Physiology, 3 in Psychiatry, 4 in Radiodiagnosis (Radiology), and 9 in Blood Transfusion Medicine.
The offline application process began on May 19 and will close on July 27. Candidates wishing to apply can submit their registration forms before the deadline.
Applicants must possess a postgraduate qualification relevant to the department, such as MD (Doctor of Medicine) or MS (Master of Surgery), or an equivalent recognized qualification in a related discipline. Additionally, candidates are required to have the specified years of teaching experience.
The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 50 years, calculated based on the application deadline. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on interviews, shortlisting, and document verification. The selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹1,23,100 to ₹2,15,900, along with additional benefits and allowances.
During registration, candidates must pay the application fee according to their category. The fee is ₹500 for General/OBC/EWS/ESIC and departmental male candidates, while SC/ST/PWD/women (all categories)/ex-servicemen are exempt from the application fee.
To download the application form, candidates should visit the official ESIC website. After navigating to the homepage, they need to click on the notification link for the relevant position. They can then download the application form provided in the notification, print it out, fill in the required information, and attach all relevant documents. Finally, the completed registration form should be mailed in an envelope to the address: Regional Office Delhi, ESIC Corporation, DDA Complex, 3rd and 4th Floor, Rajendra Bhawan, Rajendra Place, New Delhi-110008. It is advisable to keep a printed copy of the application form for future reference.
