Golden Opportunity for Youth: Agniveer Recruitment Rally in Jalandhar from November 14 to 22

The Indian Army will hold an Agniveer recruitment rally in Jalandhar from November 14-22, 2026, offering a chance for eligible youth.

Jalandhar, October 17 (Daily Kiran) : A significant opportunity has emerged for young individuals aspiring to join the Indian Army. The Agniveer recruitment rally, part of the Agnipath scheme, will take place from November 14 to November 22, 2026, at the Government College of Art and Sports in Jalandhar.

More than 6,000 candidates are expected to participate, all of whom have passed the Common Entrance Examination (CEE) from the districts of Tarn Taran, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur, and Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar (SBS Nagar). The rally will also include recruitment for eligible female candidates from Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh, providing them with a chance to build a career in the Indian Army and serve the nation with pride and dedication.

The recruitment process will assess candidates’ physical fitness and suitability through various tests. These include a 1.6-kilometer run to evaluate stamina and physical capability, beam tests to assess upper body strength, and checks of physical parameters such as height, weight, and other standards. Candidates who pass the physical fitness tests will undergo medical examinations.

The recruitment will be conducted in a fair, transparent, and systematic manner, adhering to established policies and eligibility criteria. Candidates are advised to carefully review the official recruitment notifications, ensure they meet the eligibility requirements, and bring all necessary documents to the rally.

Candidates and their guardians should be vigilant against brokers and unscrupulous elements who may promise recruitment or selection for a fee. The Indian Army’s recruitment is based solely on merit and established selection criteria, and no individual or agent can guarantee selection.

Additionally, candidates are urged not to pay any person claiming to assist with recruitment or selection and to report any suspicious activities or requests for money to recruitment officials immediately.
