Gold Prices Fluctuate: Latest Rates for 24K, 22K, and 18K Gold in Major Indian Cities

New Delhi, May 25: Gold prices are experiencing ongoing fluctuations. Following the market closure over the weekend, it is set to reopen today, Monday, May 25. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the futures price for 24-carat gold is currently ₹1,58,588 per 10 grams, reflecting a decrease of ₹91. Notably, gold reached an all-time high of ₹1,80,779 per 10 grams in the futures market on January 29.

As a result, gold is now available at a significantly lower price compared to its peak. According to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price for 24-carat gold was recorded at ₹1,58,117 per 10 grams when the market closed last week. If you are considering buying gold jewellery, it is advisable to check the latest rates before making a purchase.

The IBJA will announce the latest gold rates around 12:00 PM today, with another update at 5:00 PM. These rates are released twice daily and do not include GST or making charges.
