Gold and Silver Prices Hit Record Highs in Indian Bullion Market

New Delhi, October 15 (Daily Kiran): The Indian bullion market witnessed another record-breaking surge today, with both gold and silver touching new lifetime highs. Prices of both precious metals continued their upward rally, driven by strong domestic and global cues.

Gold prices soared by ₹2,700 to ₹2,950 per 10 grams, while silver prices jumped by nearly ₹4,000 per kilogram, setting new benchmarks across major cities.

As per trade reports, 24-carat gold is currently retailing between ₹1,28,360 and ₹1,28,510 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold is priced between ₹1,17,660 and ₹1,17,810 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, silver prices surged to ₹1,89,100 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.

Similar trends were reported from Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar, where 24-carat gold traded at ₹1,28,360 per 10 grams, and 22-carat gold at ₹1,17,660 per 10 grams.

Analysts attribute this sharp rise to increased global demand, currency fluctuations, and festive season buying in India, which traditionally boosts gold and silver consumption.
