New Delhi : A Hung Assembly has been predicted for Goa, with parties like AAP, AITC and others likely to be the kingmakers as per different exit polls. According to the CVoters exit poll, Bharatiya Janata Party will more or less maintain its vote share, predicted to poll around 32.7 per cent votes, compared to 32.5 per cent in 2017, while Congress will improve its share from 28.4 per cent in 2017 to 30.2 per cent in 2022.
The seat share of Congress is however said to go down from 17 in 2017 to 14 this time, while the BJP gets 15 seats compared to 13 last time as per the exit poll.
The AAP is likely to get three seats, and the TMC, MGP alliance is said to get up to seven seats. Times Now-Veto exit poll has predicted 14 seats for the BJP in Goa, 16 for the Congress, 4 for the AAP and 6 for others. According to ABP News Exit Poll, BJP will get 13-17 seats, Congress alliance will get 12-16 seats, AAP gets 1-5 seats, and the TMC-MGP alliance will get 5 to 9 seats. The Goa Assembly has 40 seats.
