Beijing, February 23: In recent days, various activities have been organized around the world to celebrate the Spring Festival.
On February 21, the Chinese Embassy in the UK hosted a Spring Festival ceremony themed “Honoring Peace and Remembering Friendship.”
Over 100 people gathered at the Lisbon Maru, including families of fallen and surviving British soldiers, relatives of George Hook, and friends from various fields, to celebrate the festival and reminisce about friendship.
On the morning of February 21, a “Year of the Horse Spring Festival Road Run” event took place in the autonomous community of Madrid, Spain. One participant expressed that such events are fantastic. “We are all very excited, and the entire community came together to celebrate this festival,” they said.
Later that evening, during a football match held in France, Paris Saint-Germain donned special jerseys in honor of the Chinese New Year, celebrating the Year of the Horse. The Parc des Princes stadium was adorned with decorations reflecting the festive spirit of the Chinese New Year.
Recently, the 8th “Chinese Spring” cultural festival was held in Szeged, Hungary, featuring vibrant performances including dragon and lion dances. This event attracted many local residents who participated in the celebratory atmosphere of the Chinese New Year.
