Lucknow, April 23: Millions of students who appeared for the Class 10 and Class 12 examinations in Uttar Pradesh received great news. The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) announced the results for the High School and Intermediate exams for 2026 on Thursday. Once again, girls showcased exceptional performance.
In the Class 10 exams, Kashish Verma from Sitapur and Anshika Verma from Barabanki secured the top position with an impressive score of 97.83%. Meanwhile, in the Class 12 exams, Shikha Verma from Sitapur achieved the highest marks with 97.60%.
The board examinations were conducted across 8,033 centers in all 75 districts of the state from February 18 to March 12. The evaluation of answer sheets took place from March 18 to April 4 at a total of 254 centers, involving around 55,976 teachers.
Approximately 1.23 crore answer sheets were evaluated for the Intermediate exams. Board Secretary Bhagwati Singh announced that along with the results, the list of toppers was also released. Students who excelled at the state level will be honored by the state government. Students can check their results on the board’s official website, DigiLocker, and via SMS.
This year, the board examinations were conducted peacefully and without cheating over 15 working days at 8,033 exam centers from February 18 to March 12. About 26.02 lakh students appeared for the High School exams, while 24.91 lakh students participated in the Intermediate exams, reflecting the extensive reach of the state’s education system.
Following the successful conduct of the examinations, nearly 2.75 crore answer sheets were evaluated at 254 evaluation centers within just 15 working days from March 18 to April 4. To ensure the accuracy of the results, principals and senior lecturers were appointed as evaluators to maintain the quality and reliability of the evaluation process.
