New Delhi, October 22 (Daily Kiran) : Former Indian cricket team head coach Gautam Gambhir extended heartfelt birthday wishes to Union Home Minister Amit Shah on his special day. In a post on his X account, Gambhir expressed, “Happy Birthday to Amit Shah. Your unwavering commitment and dedication to India are truly inspiring. I wish you good health, happiness, and continued strength.”
Amit Shah, born on October 22, 1964, in Mumbai, is celebrating his 61st birthday today. Gambhir shares a close rapport with Shah, having served as a Member of Parliament for the Bharatiya Janata Party from 2019 to 2024. Their relationship strengthened during this period.
Although Gambhir has stepped away from politics and returned to cricket, he continues to meet with Shah. On September 21, he shared a photo from their recent meeting, expressing gratitude for Shah’s time and guidance while wishing him well.
Currently, Gambhir is in New Zealand with the Indian cricket team, where they will face a challenging series consisting of five T20s, five ODIs, and two Tests. The unique conditions in New Zealand present a significant challenge for Gambhir as he aims to maximize the potential of the young players on his team.
The T20 series kicks off on Thursday, followed by the ODI series starting on November 4, and the Test series beginning on November 19.
