New Delhi, May 17: Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, visited Mastichak in the Dariyapur block of Bihar’s Saran district to announce significant developments in the state’s health and industrial sectors. During his visit, he inaugurated the ‘Adani Akhand Jyoti Eye Care Hospital.’
In a post on ‘X’, Adani described his trip to Mastichak as an emotional and spiritual experience. He expressed, “Visiting the sacred land of Bihar filled me with pride, emotion, and warmth. At the Gayatri Shakti Peeth, I felt a unique energy and spiritual inspiration. Restoring someone’s eyesight is not just treatment; it is a noble act that brings hope, confidence, and dignity back into their lives. The service-oriented approach of the Gayatri family, Akhand Jyoti, and the esteemed Mrityunjay Ji has deeply moved me. I extend my heartfelt gratitude and best wishes for their extraordinary work.”
He further stated, “For us, ‘Service is our Worship’ is not just a slogan but an inspiration to turn compassion into action. The Akhand Jyoti Foundation embodies this principle through its community service. In this spirit, we are launching the ‘ACE – Adani Eye Disease Center’ in collaboration with the Adani Foundation and Akhand Jyoti Hospital, aimed at providing accessible and affordable eye care to those in need.”
Adani also mentioned, “Additionally, through the ‘ATOM – Adani Training Center for Eye Care,’ we will train the next generation of eye specialists and female healthcare workers. We are committed to spreading this light of service, which began on the sacred soil of Bihar, to every needy person across the country in the coming years. The ‘Adani Akhand Jyoti Trust’ will continue its work with full dedication, sensitivity, and commitment. We have pledged over 700 crores in support for these noble humanitarian efforts. Bihar has always been a land that inspires the nation. This initiative aims to illuminate the country through the same spirit of service, values, and dedication. I am deeply grateful for the love and blessings of the people of Bihar.”
During the event in Saran, Adani also addressed the need for infrastructure development in Bihar. He emphasized that every household should have access to 24-hour affordable and reliable electricity. Improved roads, modern amenities, and industrialization are also crucial. He noted that the ongoing development in Bihar should benefit the state’s residents fully.
