Mumbai, May 14: Actor Freddy Daruwala is set to portray Veer Bhushan Thakur in the web series “Inspector Avinash.” The storyline revolves around the struggle to capture arms traffickers in Uttar Pradesh, with Daruwala’s character playing a pivotal role.
In a recent interview, the actor shared insights about the series, stating, “Neeraj Pathak has written and directed it so brilliantly that everything will be even more exciting and intense than the last season. This time, the emotional stakes are higher, and the layers of the characters will gradually unfold for the audience.”
Freddy recounted his shooting experiences, noting that the long schedule felt more like a continuous journey rather than just another season. Viewers can expect to see the personal life of Avinash Mishra intertwined with geopolitical twists.
Shalin Bhanot will also play a significant role as police officer Baljeet Singh. In discussions about the increasing responsibilities for Season 2, he remarked, “As the story progresses, the character will carry the weight of the past and deeper experiences.”
He added, “As artists, our responsibility grows because audience expectations are much higher than in the first season. A character that may seem straightforward at first can become mentally and emotionally shattered by later episodes. Honestly portraying that transformation is both the biggest challenge and thrill.”
Shalin emphasized that the more pressure and responsibility the cast faces, the more joy they find in performing. “Inspector Avinash 2” is not just a story about a police officer; it is also a journey through the ups and downs of human emotions.
