Four IPL Wicketkeepers with Over 100 Dismissals

New Delhi, March 13: The Indian Premier League (IPL) has showcased not only batsmen and bowlers but also exceptional fielders and wicketkeepers over its 18 seasons. Here’s a look at the wicketkeepers who have made over 100 dismissals in their IPL careers.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni: The legendary player has participated in 278 matches since 2008, achieving 201 dismissals as a wicketkeeper. During this time, Dhoni has made 154 catches and 47 stumpings. He has played for only two teams in the IPL, scoring 5,439 runs at an average of 38.30, including 24 half-centuries. Dhoni has also hit 264 sixes and 375 fours in the league.

Dinesh Karthik: From 2008 to 2024, Karthik has played 257 IPL matches with six teams, recording 174 dismissals. His tally includes 137 catches and 37 stumpings. Karthik has scored 4,842 runs at an average of 26.31, with 22 half-centuries. In the league, he has hit 161 sixes and 466 fours.

Wriddhiman Saha: Representing five teams in the IPL, Saha has played 170 matches and achieved 113 dismissals. This includes 87 catches and 26 stumpings. He has scored 2,934 runs at an average of 24.24, featuring one century and 13 half-centuries. Saha has also hit 87 sixes and 296 fours during his IPL career.

Rishabh Pant: Having played 125 IPL matches for Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants, Pant has made 101 dismissals as a wicketkeeper, which includes 77 catches and 24 stumpings. As a batsman, he has scored 3,553 runs at an average of 34.16, including two centuries and 19 half-centuries. Pant has hit 170 sixes and 319 fours in the league.
