For harmony and peace, world looking up to India: UP CM

Lucknow, April 18 : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday said that under the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has emerged as the most peaceful country with better foreign policies and friendly international relations. Speaking at the programme organised by a news agency here, Yogi Adityaath said, “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has made a mark in the world due to its better Covid management. “On the other hand, amidst the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, the eyes of the entire world are on India and our respected Prime Minister for establishing peace,” he added. Keeping faith in the Prime Minister’s management, the world leaders were trying to develop comm cation with him for an atmosphere of peace and harmony, claimed the Chief Minister. Referring to the occasion, he said that 75 years in one’s life was considered to be the fourth and an important phase of any person or institution as it highlighted their achievements. “The ‘ashram system’ was also divided into four important parts, in which it was said in the first part a person would depend on others and prepare the basis for himself. While in the second part, the person becomes self-dependent. The third phase is dedicated to helping others while in the fourth, complete dedication is towards the people and the society,” he maintained. Lauding the agency for its work, the CM said the agency has always given importance to Indianness since its inception by delivering quality news with the motto of ‘satya, samvad and sewa’ (truth, dialogue, and service), along with respecting the Indian language and tradition. Mentioning the hardships faced by the media during the emergency period, the Chief Minister said, “When democracy was throttled in emergency, the entire media fraternity had to face that bite. But with their dedication towards the truth and the country, they were able to reestablish themselves without any distractions.” He also urged the fourth pillar of democracy to get inspired for facing new challenges that have come up in the sector. “On one side is the print media and on the other side is the visual media. While social media has come out in its new form as the third side and we cannot deny the importance of digital media, which is fourth one. The attitude of the people has also changed, therefore, each platform has its own importance.” MB RJ
