FIR Filed in Ram Janmabhoomi Donation Controversy: Deveshacharya Maharaj Welcomes Action

Ayodhya, June 26: A significant step has been taken in the Ram Janmabhoomi donation case, with an FIR filed against eight named individuals and several unidentified suspects. This action follows the preliminary report from the Special Investigation Team (SIT), which was formed at the request of the trust overseeing the pilgrimage site. The SIT highlighted several serious irregularities in its investigation, leading to the filing of the FIR. Deveshacharya Maharaj welcomed this action.

Deveshacharya Maharaj stated that this step should have been taken earlier. Reports indicate that legal action has been initiated against more than half a dozen individuals.

In an exclusive conversation with a news agency, Deveshacharya Maharaj expressed that this action should have occurred much sooner. Those accused should have been detained immediately for thorough investigation. However, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has consistently assured the people of the state and the Sanatan community that a fair investigation will take place, ensuring that the truth prevails.

He noted that after completing its investigation, the SIT submitted its report to the relevant authorities, and following the Chief Minister’s acknowledgment, action against the guilty parties commenced. The filing of the FIR indicates that the government is taking the matter seriously and will not tolerate any irregularities at any level.

Deveshacharya Maharaj urged Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to ensure that anyone found guilty in the investigation faces stringent action that sets a precedent for the future. He emphasized that those who betray the faith of Ram devotees, the Sanatan community, and millions of followers should receive a punishment severe enough to deter anyone from undermining religious beliefs in the future.

Describing the entire incident as unfortunate for the Sanatan community, he remarked that it is particularly distressing given that the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh is himself a saint, and such allegations arising during his tenure are concerning. Maharaj expressed confidence that the investigation will proceed impartially and that anyone found guilty will face strict penalties.
