Mumbai, October 11 (Daily Kiran) : Fans of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan gathered outside his home in Mumbai on October 11 to celebrate his 84th birthday. Many expressed their admiration, calling him a god and a source of inspiration for their lives and values.
One devoted fan from Guwahati shared his long-standing tradition, saying, “I have been coming to Mumbai every year for the past 21 years to celebrate Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday. I even started a fan club for him in Assam. In 2018, I participated in his popular quiz show, ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati.'”
He added, “I have also launched a book about Amitabh and have watched nearly all of his films. ‘Deewar’ is particularly special to me; I have seen it over 70 times. Amitabh Bachchan is my god. I have been a fan since I was three years old.”
Another fan emphasized that Bachchan represents more than just an actor or superstar. “He is an emotion for us. His name brings smiles to our faces and inspires us to live life better. Despite his immense success, his humility is a lesson in itself. Balancing work and family responsibilities is something we admire about him. Our love for him is deep, and meeting him is in the hands of fate.”
On this special day, a fan expressed a heartfelt wish for Bachchan’s long life, saying, “I pray to God that he remains healthy for many more years and that I may share in his longevity.” In honor of his birthday, arrangements were made to provide meals for senior citizens and orphaned children, tying the celebration to acts of service.
