Atlanta, April 28: The Falcons have streamlined their roster, leaving only one punter on their 90-man squad. The team announced the release of Trenton Gill on Monday. In his place, they have signed Jake Bailey to a three-year contract, making him the sole punting option in Atlanta.
Gill joined the Falcons’ practice squad late last season but did not see any game action. His last regular season performance was with the Buccaneers in 2024, where he played in eight games. During that time, he achieved a net average of 38.7 yards per kick. Additionally, he averaged 38.8 net yards over 34 games with the Bears.
