Fadnavis took Rs 10 cr twice from Iqbal Mirchi: NCP MLA

Pune, March 3 : Former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis took Rs 10 crore twice from late gangster Iqbal Mirchi, one of accused in 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blasts, alleged NCP MLA Anil Gote on Thursday. Gote alleged that the BJP has received Rs 10 crore twice – each time from property developer Wadhwan, who is associated with gangster late Iqbal Mirchi, he claimed and said Mirchi was very close to fugitive underworld don Dawood Ibrahim. “If the Enforcement Directorate can arrest Minister Nawab Malik for his alleged links with militants, then why not Fadnavis,” said Gote. “I am filing a complaint against Fadnavis with ED today,” he added.
