Islamabad, March 31 : Ahead of the National Assembly debate on no-confidence motion, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday called for a meeting of the National Security Committee (NSC). Taking to Twitter, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry said the meeting would be held at the PM House. According to Geo TV, the NSC meeting has been called just two hours before the start of a crucial NA session, in which debate on the no-trust motion against the premier is set to take place. The debate is slated to start 4 pm (local time). The National Assembly Secretariat issued the order of the day for the Thursday meeting a day ago. Discussion on the no-trust move against the premier would be held during the session, Geo News reported. Imran Khan became the third premier in Pakistan’s history to face the no confidence resolution after Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif tabled the motion on Monday against him in the assembly.
