Ranchi, August 22: A great opportunity has emerged for those aspiring to work in a prestigious educational institution. The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Jamshedpur has officially announced the recruitment of eligible candidates for four guest faculty/coach positions at the Student Activity Center on a contractual basis.
The vacancies for guest faculty/coach at NIT Jamshedpur are available in the fields of Physical Education and Sports, Yoga, NCC, and NSS. The application process has commenced online (via email), and the deadline to apply is set for August 24. Applicants must possess a Master’s degree in Physical Education and Sports or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution or university for Physical Education and Sports; a Master’s degree in Yoga or an equivalent qualification for Yoga; a Post-Graduate degree or be a retired defense service employee (ex-serviceman) with a valid NCC ‘C’ certificate for NCC; and for NSS, a Post-Graduate degree with an NSS certificate along with relevant experience in community service and youth development. Candidates with a Ph.D. or equivalent qualification in the relevant subject will be given preference.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on a walk-in interview and document verification, with a daily salary of ₹2,000 for the selected candidates. The walk-in interview is scheduled to take place on August 25 at the NIT Jamshedpur campus. Candidates attending the interview are advised to arrive on time and bring both original and photocopies of all relevant documents.
