New Delhi, May 19: The Directorate of Education for the Union Territories of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu has announced a fantastic opportunity for job seekers. A total of 26 positions are available under the Samagra Shiksha (Central Sponsored Scheme – CSS) on a short-term contract basis. Eligible candidates are invited to apply for these roles in government schools and the Samagra Shiksha offices.
The available positions include one Resource Person for Children with Special Needs (CWSN), one Academic Resource Person for Career Counseling, ten Primary Teachers (English Medium), six Upper Primary Teachers (English Medium), seven Part-Time Instructors, and one Special Teacher (Secondary).
Candidates will be selected based on a walk-in interview, classroom performance, practical tests, and document verification. The monthly salary for selected candidates will range from ₹12,100 to ₹27,000, depending on the position.
To qualify for these roles, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education (B.Ed) from a recognized institution, along with a diploma in Career Counseling or a Master’s diploma in Counseling. They should have completed Senior Secondary (Class 12) with at least 50% marks and hold a two-year diploma in Early Childhood Education, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in BA/BSc/BCom with a two-year diploma in Primary Education. Additionally, candidates must have relevant experience in the field and meet other specified eligibility criteria.
The maximum age limit for applicants is set between 30 to 35 years, with age relaxation for candidates from reserved categories as per government rules.
Walk-in interviews will take place on May 28, starting at 8:30 AM at the Government Higher Secondary School, Diu. Candidates attending the interview are advised to arrive on time and bring a hard copy of the completed application form along with original documents and their printouts.
