Mumbai, August 3: A remarkable opportunity has arisen for those seeking employment at Mineral Exploration and Consultancy Limited (MECIL). The company has released an official notification inviting applications for various Executive Trainee positions under the ‘Engineering Services Examination 2024’.
MECIL is looking to fill a total of 13 vacancies, which include 1 Executive Trainee (Electrical), 5 Executive Trainees (Mechanical) in the Procurement and Contracts Department, 2 Executive Trainees (Mechanical) in the Stores and Disposal Department, and 5 Executive Trainees (Mechanical) in the Drilling Department.
The online application process commenced on August 1, and candidates can submit their applications until the deadline of August 14. Interested applicants can register on MECIL’s official website before or by the final date.
Candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field from a recognized institution or university, with a minimum of 60% marks.
The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 28 years as of August 1. However, candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on the scores from the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Engineering Services Examination (ESE) 2024, including written exam marks, interview scores, document verification, and medical fitness. Selected Executive Trainees will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹40,000 to ₹1,40,000, along with additional benefits and allowances.
While filling out the application form, candidates must pay the prescribed application fee online. The fee is set at ₹500 for General/OBC/EWS candidates, while SC/ST/PWD/ex-servicemen and departmental candidates are exempt from the registration fee.
