New Delhi, May 20: A fantastic opportunity has emerged for young job seekers wishing to work at Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL). The company has released an official notification inviting applications for a total of 56 positions, including Project Engineer, on a temporary basis at various project sites located in Delhi, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh.
Among the 56 vacancies announced by BEL, there are 25 positions for Field Operation Engineers (FOE) and 31 positions for Project Engineer-I. The online application process for all these posts commenced on Wednesday, with the deadline set for June 8. Eligible candidates wishing to apply can submit their registration forms on BEL’s official portal before the deadline.
Applicants for the Field Operation Engineer position must hold a BE/B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering (4-year course) or an ME/M.Tech in relevant fields such as Electronics, Communication, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, or Information Technology from a recognized institution or university.
For the Project Engineer-I position, candidates are required to have a BE/B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering (4-year course) in similar disciplines. Additionally, candidates for both positions must possess 2 to 5 years of relevant experience and meet other specified eligibility criteria.
The maximum age limit for applicants is set at 32 years for the Project Engineer position and 40 years for the Field Operation Engineer position, calculated as of June 1. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per regulations.
Selection of qualified candidates will be based on shortlisting through academic qualifications and experience, followed by a written examination, interview, and merit list. The initial salary for selected candidates in the FOE position will be ₹60,000, while those in the Project Engineer position will earn ₹40,000 per month, along with additional benefits and allowances.
When filling out the application form, candidates must pay the applicable application fee online, which is ₹450 plus 18% GST for the Field Operation Engineer post and ₹400 plus 18% GST for the Project Engineer-I post. Candidates from Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes and Persons with Disabilities will receive a concession in the registration fee.
