East Bengal Dominates Odisha FC with 3-0 Victory in ISL 2025-26

Margao, April 29: In a stunning display, East Bengal FC triumphed over Odisha FC with a decisive 3-0 victory in the Indian Super League (ISL) 2025-26. The match took place at the PJN Stadium in Margao, Goa. From the outset, East Bengal showcased their dominance, leaving Odisha FC with little chance to recover.

East Bengal came out aggressively, applying pressure on Odisha’s defense with swift passing and relentless attacks. Their efforts paid off in the 11th minute when Bipin Singh scored an easy goal, giving East Bengal a 1-0 lead. PV Vishnu and Edmund Lalrindika played crucial roles in this goal, demonstrating excellent teamwork.

Throughout the first half, East Bengal maintained possession and created several scoring opportunities. Meanwhile, Odisha FC attempted to counterattack but struggled to make an impact. Rahim Ali had a few promising moves but failed to convert. East Bengal’s goalkeeper, Prabhsukhan Gill, made several outstanding saves to keep Odisha at bay.

The second half saw little change in momentum. East Bengal continued to assert their dominance while Odisha FC fought hard for a goal. In the 70th minute, East Bengal doubled their lead when Yusuf Ajezari capitalized on a chance, scoring to make it 2-0.

Ajezari struck again in the 84th minute, sealing the match for East Bengal. Bipin Singh provided a brilliant assist for this goal. In the closing minutes, Odisha FC attempted to mount a comeback, with captain Carlos Delgado delivering a powerful header, but it failed to find the back of the net. With this victory, East Bengal FC now has 18 points from nine matches, placing them fourth in the standings, while Odisha FC remains at the bottom with just six points.
