Hyderabad, October 3 (Daily Kiran) : The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has opened an exciting opportunity for job seekers in Hyderabad. The Research Centre Imarat (RCI) under DRDO has released an official notification inviting applications for 195 apprentice positions for a duration of one year.
These vacancies include 50 Graduate Apprentices, 30 Technician Apprentices (Diploma), and 115 Trade Apprentices for ITI pass-outs recognized by NCVT/SCVT.
The application process is currently underway, and candidates must apply online by November 1, 2026, which is 30 days from the advertisement’s publication date.
Eligible candidates interested in these positions must first register on the NATs portal. After registration, they should visit the official DRDO website to complete their application process before the deadline.
Applicants for the Graduate Apprentice positions should hold a BE/BTech degree in relevant fields such as ECE, Instrumentation Engineering, EEE, CSE, Mechanical, Chemical, Metallurgical, Safety, Aeronautical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering. For Technician Apprentices (Diploma), candidates need a diploma in similar engineering disciplines. Trade Apprentices must possess an ITI certificate in trades like Fitter, Welder, Turner, Machinist, Diesel Mechanic, Electronics Mechanic, Electrician, COPA, Draftsman Engineering (Mechanical), or Grinder.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old as of September 1, 2026. Selection will be based on application scrutiny, shortlisting, academic qualifications, interviews, and document verification. Selected candidates will receive a stipend according to DRDO-RCI regulations.
