Emergency services were alerted, and fire trucks arrived promptly at the scene. Firefighters worked diligently to control the blaze, which had rapidly consumed the car, leaving it nearly unrecognizable. Nearby roads were temporarily closed to facilitate firefighting efforts.
As of now, the cause of the fire remains unknown, and there have been no reports of injuries. Authorities, including the police, are investigating the incident to determine how the fire started and how many people were inside the vehicle at the time.
In a related incident, on September 4, a tragic accident occurred in Khajuri Khas, where a poultry truck collided with a dumper on the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway. The truck driver, 35-year-old Anshul, lost his life in the crash. The accident happened around 5 a.m., and the dumper driver fled the scene. The impact of the collision was so severe that the front of the poultry truck was extensively damaged, trapping Anshul inside. Emergency teams from the Delhi Fire Service and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) were called to rescue him using cutting tools.
