The National Informatics Centre (NIC) invites tech students to apply for the prestigious Digital India Internship Scheme 2025. This hands-on internship offers real-world experience, a monthly stipend, and a government-certified credential.

The Digital India Internship 2025, organized by the NIC under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), is tailored to nurture India’s next generation of tech innovators. Selected students will gain first-hand experience working on high-impact projects in areas like Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, IoT, and Blockchain—contributing directly to India’s digital transformation.

Students will collaborate with government mentors and apply their academic knowledge to real-world scenarios that impact millions of citizens. This program aligns with India’s vision of building a future-ready tech workforce.

Who Can Apply: Eligibility and Requirements

The internship is open to Indian nationals from recognized universities and institutes. Candidates must have scored at least 60% in their last qualifying examination.

Eligible Courses and Years:

• B.E./B.Tech (3rd year including lateral entry)

• M.E./M.Tech/M.Sc (CS/IT) 1st year

• MCA 2nd year

• Dual Degree M.E./M.Tech 4th year

• DOEACC ‘B’ level diploma (students currently enrolled)

Note: Final-year students graduating in 2025 are not eligible.

Selection Process
