Ranveer Singh’s high-octane spy thriller ‘Dhurandhar’, directed by Aditya Dhar, is making a powerful start at the box office. The film has shown impressive growth and momentum over its debut weekend.

On the first day, the film earned approximately ₹27 crore net in India, followed by an increase on Saturday. According to early estimates from Sacnilk, the film collected around ₹31 crore net across all languages on the second day. This pushed the official total past the ₹50 crore mark, reaching a net collection of ₹58 crore in two days. These figures align well with initial box office predictions, which expected a net total of ₹57-59 crore in the first two days.
Strong Growth on Second Day
Box office reports and early trends indicate that the film’s opening collections reflect widespread excitement for this action spectacle. With positive reviews and strong word-of-mouth, the increase in Saturday’s collections has strengthened its position at the ticket window. Footfall data shows morning shows had 17.26% occupancy, which rose to 42.65% by afternoon and reached 63.16% during night shows. Overall, occupancy for Hindi films on Saturday was 39.63%.
Both multiplexes and single screens recorded notable growth, highlighting the film’s popularity among urban and mass market audiences alike.
Global Gross Collections
According to Sacnilk, the film’s domestic gross box office collection reached about ₹69.75 crore by Saturday. Overseas, ‘Dhurandhar’ earned approximately ₹7.6 crore, bringing its worldwide total to around ₹77.35 crore. If the film maintains this pace, it is on track to cross the ₹100 crore global weekend mark.
₹100 Crore Weekend Possible
Early forecasts suggested the film would collect ₹30-32 crore net on the second day. Following Saturday’s strong performance, the film is now heading towards a ₹90 crore net opening weekend. If this momentum continues, ‘Dhurandhar’ could become one of Ranveer Singh’s biggest commercial hits to date.
