Dhurandhar Breaks Box Office Records Worldwide, Surpassing Major Releases

Mumbai, March 22: The film “Dhurandhar,” starring Ranveer Singh, has made waves not just in India but also internationally since its release on March 19.

As days pass, the film’s collection continues to soar, surpassing other major releases like “Animal,” “Pathaan,” and “Jawan.” In just three days, “Dhurandhar” has amassed an impressive global collection of ₹499 crores, including all language versions. Notably, the highest earnings have come from the Hindi-speaking regions.

According to box office data analysis from Sacnilk, “Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge” has achieved a remarkable net collection of ₹226.27 crores in India over the past two days, significantly outpacing the two-day totals of several recently released big films. When compared to the first and second-day performances of “Animal,” “Jawan,” and “Pathaan,” “Dhurandhar 2” has gained substantial ground in both net and gross collections. The film’s gross collection in India reached ₹269.39 crores over the first two days, with a successful net collection of ₹105 crores on the third day.

In total, “Dhurandhar” has crossed ₹339.27 crores in net collection within three days, while its gross collection stands at ₹402.50 crores in India. It is anticipated that the film could break further records over the weekend.

“Dhurandhar” is not only dominating the Indian box office but is also shattering records overseas. Official figures will be released by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, but in the meantime, Comscore has shared the film’s overseas earnings. The film has collected ₹46.34 crores in the USA, ₹18.75 crores in Canada, ₹11.60 crores in the UK, ₹9.80 crores in Australia, ₹1.25 crores in New Zealand, and ₹2.82 crores in Germany.

While the film has performed well in Hindi, its earnings in other languages have been comparatively lower. The Telugu version has netted ₹6.30 crores, while the Tamil version has earned ₹3.39 crores. The Kannada and Malayalam versions have not even crossed the ₹1 crore mark.
