Dhumal asks youth workers to take party ideology to masses

Hamirpur (HP), April 17 : Former HP Chief Minister and senior BJP leader, PK Dhumal has urged the youth activists of the party to take the party ideology to the masses and tell them what the double engine party governments had done for them. While addressing BJYM activists of Sujanpur Mandal at To devi last night during a training camp, he said the BJP was the party of the masses and would continue to work for their well-being and welfare. He said since the formation of the BJP government at the Center led by Narendra Modi, the nation had progressed a lot and there was a need on part of the young generation to the people what the central government had done for them. The former Chief Minister said when the Prime Minister took over the reins of his country in 2014, first of all, he managed the opening of the bank accounts of the people living in India under the Jan Dhan Yojana so that common people should not go to the banks and instead, the bank officers should come to them, this provision was made on zero balance. Accounts were opened and without guarantee, every citizen of India could get a loan of up to 5,000 rupees through this account. He said,” At that time 41 crore accounts were opened under Jan Dhan Yojana to eliminate corruption from the country. The accounts proved to be effective”, he added. He said the youth who were participating in the training camp should take the welfare schemes of the Central and State Governments to the people so that people can get their direct benefits and thereby stand on their feet. Dhumal also reminded the youth against the evil designs of the Congress party and other non-BJP parties for trying to divide the people on caste, religion, and communal lines and told them to thwart such attempts by telling the people who were their real friends. Earlier, Dhumal was given a grand welcome by the youth activists of the party and was garlanded on this occasion. CSS 1224
