Mumbai: The much-awaited comedy franchise ‘Dhamal’ is back with its fourth installment, creating great excitement among moviegoers. However, the release date of ‘Dhamal 4’ has once again been changed. The makers announced on social media that the film will no longer hit cinemas on 12 June.
In an Instagram post, the makers wrote, “When chaos meets comedy, you know it’s time for Dhamal! The new date is auspicious and perfect for a family entertainer. The film is now set to release on 3 July as the ultimate family entertainer.”
This marks the second change in the release schedule. Initially, the film was slated for 12 June, and before that, it was planned to release on Eid. Although the makers have not disclosed the exact reasons for the delay, it is widely believed that the decision was taken to avoid a potential box office clash.
‘Dhamal 4’ stars Ajay Devgn in the lead role, supported by notable actors such as Sanjay Mishra, Esha Gupta, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Anjali Anand, Upendra Limaye, Vijay Patkar, and Ravi Kishan. The franchise’s original cast members, including Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, and Jaaved Jaaferi, also make a return.
The film is directed by Indra Kumar and produced under the banners of T-Series, Devgn Films, Maruti International, and Panorama Studios. The producers include Ajay Devgn, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Ashok Thakeria, Indra Kumar, Anand Pandit, and Kumar Mangat Pathak.
The ‘Dhamal’ franchise began with its first film in 2007, directed by Indra Kumar and starring Sanjay Dutt, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, and Jaaved Jaaferi. It was followed by ‘Double Dhamaal’ in 2011 and ‘Total Dhamaal’ in 2019, both successful at the box office. ‘Dhamal 4’ promises to bring back the classic fun with new twists to entertain audiences.
