According to police sources, a dispute arose in the JJ Colony of Uttam Nagar when a water balloon thrown by an 11-year-old girl splashed color on someone. Despite an apology, the dispute escalated violently. The accused brutally attacked Tarun (26) with an iron rod and stones, leading to his death during treatment at the hospital. Tensions spread in the area, prompting protests, vehicle burnings, and a siege of the police station. The Delhi Police have arrested eight individuals so far, including a minor.
