New Delhi, June 8: Defense Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh visited the challenging terrains of Ladakh to assess military readiness. His tour included the Leh sector, where he conducted a comprehensive review of military preparations, border infrastructure, and logistics.
During his visit, Singh held a meeting with senior military commanders at the 14 Corps headquarters. They evaluated the security situation and operational readiness in detail. This three-day visit, from June 5 to 7, included stops at several forward areas in eastern Ladakh, including the base camp and northern glacier region.
