Mumbai, May 5: Bollywood actor Deepak Dutta is currently in the spotlight for his upcoming film ‘Dadi Ki Shaadi.’ In this film, he shares the screen with the legendary actress Neetu Kapoor. Deepak opened up about his experience, highlighting how special and memorable it has been for him.
Deepak stated, “I have been a fan of Neetu Kapoor’s films since childhood, so when I got the chance to work with her, I felt a bit nervous. Even today, her charm is infectious.”
He continued, “I have watched many of Neetu Kapoor’s films and songs, where her smile and energy have always stood out. This is why I was quite anxious before working with her. However, as I spent time with her, my fears gradually faded. She is incredibly humble and down-to-earth, making every artist she works with feel at ease.”
Deepak further expressed, “Neetu Kapoor’s demeanor is very simple. I am greatly impressed by her personality. Despite being a major star, her approachable nature endears her to everyone.”
Regarding his role in the film, Deepak mentioned that he received an audition call from Mukesh Chhabra’s casting agency for this project. He considers himself very fortunate for this opportunity. “My character is relatable to every son. Portraying it has been a special and emotional experience,” he added.
Discussing the shooting experience, Deepak shared, “The film was shot over approximately 50 days in Shimla. The scenery was stunning, and working with the entire team was a fantastic experience. The producers, technical team, and the whole unit played a crucial role in making this film exceptional.”
In ‘Dadi Ki Shaadi,’ alongside Neetu Kapoor, Kapil Sharma also plays a significant role. Notably, this film marks the Bollywood debut of Neetu Kapoor and the late Rishi Kapoor’s daughter, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. The film is set to release in theaters on May 8.
