Mumbai, May 23: The Bollywood film “Hai Jawani To Ishq Hona Hai” is currently generating significant buzz. Recently, the film’s trailer was unveiled, and during the event, director David Dhawan became emotional as he reminisced about his time in the hospital. He shared how Varun stood by him and took care of him throughout that challenging period.
At the trailer launch, David Dhawan expressed, “When I was in the hospital, Varun fulfilled his duty as a son with utmost sincerity. He spent many nights by my side. Every father should have a son like Varun. As a father, I am proud of my son.”
He also praised Varun’s dedication to his craft, stating, “Varun Dhawan continuously strives to improve himself and attempts something new in every film. If a director requires a specific performance, Varun puts in the effort and sincerity to deliver. I am happier that he is a good person and a responsible son than just being an actor.”
During the launch, he added, “This is my 46th film, and even today, entertaining the audience brings me the greatest joy. I always prefer to make films that the entire family can enjoy together.”
“Hai Jawani To Ishq Hona Hai” marks the fourth collaboration between David and Varun Dhawan. They previously worked together on films like “Main Tera Hero,” “Judwaa 2,” and “Coolie No. 1,” all of which were well-received by audiences.
In this film, Varun Dhawan stars alongside actresses Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde in lead roles. The cast also includes notable actors like Mouni Roy, Chunky Pandey, Maniesh Paul, Jimmy Shergill, Rakesh Bedi, and Ali Asgar, promising a blend of comedy, romance, family, and emotions.
“Hai Jawani To Ishq Hona Hai” is produced by Tips Films Limited and Maximilian Films UK and is set to release in theaters on June 5 this year.
