Cycle Journey Covering 1,447 km from India Gate to Udaipur Spreads Swachhata Awareness

Udaipur, January 22: In a remarkable endeavor to promote Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Swachh Bharat-Healthy Bharat’ vision, two cyclists from Udaipur, Akbar Ali Bandukwala and Rishabh Jain, embarked on a 1,447-kilometer cycle journey from India Gate in New Delhi to Gateway of India in Mumbai. Their inspiring expedition reached Udaipur on Wednesday, where they were greeted with a grand reception.

The journey, which began on Monday, aims to spread the message of cleanliness and fitness. Upon their arrival in Udaipur, a celebratory event was held at the DPS School auditorium, attended by a large gathering of city residents, students, and prominent members of the community.

The reception at DPS School was a lively affair, with social activist Govind Agrawal, ADM Dipendra Singh, renowned architect Sunil S. Laddha, Kausar Ali Kurabadwala, and other dignitaries in attendance. Representatives from the Dawoodi Bohra community and the Udaipur Cycling Club also joined the celebration, applauding the duo’s efforts to promote a cleaner and healthier India.
