Curtin climbs in global research rankings

Curtin has been ranked ninth in Australia and 271st in the world, a rise of 11 places, in the latest global ranking which measures university performance based on scientific impact and collaboration across more than 1000 universities around the world.

Curtin University Vice-Chancellor Professor Deborah Terry said she was delighted with the ranking result confirming the University’s strong research performance and impact.

“The latest CWTS Leiden Ranking again places Curtin among the top 300 universities in the world and reaffirms the University’s national ranking as ninth in Australia,” Professor Terry said.
