Curfew relaxed again in MP town

Khargone (MP), Apr 17 : Curfew is being relaxed every day since Thursday in this district headquarters, which is limping back towards normalcy, it was officially learnt on Sunday. The first relaxation was from 1000-1200 hrs and then from 1500-1700 hrs on Thursday but only for women. In the couple of days that followed, even men were permitted onto the streets during the relaxation. On this day the period was slightly extended, that is 0800-1200 hrs and 1500-1700 hrs. The first two days witnessed opening of medicine shops, groceries, fruit and vegetable stalls in addition to dairies. Since Saturday; saloons; electronics, fertilizer and seed outlets as well as confectionaries are also attending to customers. Indore’s Divisional Commissioner Pawan Sharma, IG Rakesh Gupta, DIG Tilak Singh, Collector Anugraha P and SP Rohit Kashwani are ceaselessly visiting affected areas. Dr Sharma and Mr Gupta even toured violence-hit Sendhwa town in adjoining Barwani district – also located in southwestern Madhya Pradesh – took stock of the situation and issued directives during a meeting with officers.
