Tirupati, March 8 : Comm st Party of India (CPI) national secretary K Narayana demanded on Tuesday the Andhra Pradesh government should immediately implement the AP High Court verdict to honour the agreement with farmers on the Amaravati capital issue. In a media statement issued from Chennai, the CPI secretary told Chief Ministers may come and go but the decisions and agreements made by them are permanent unless rescinded by act of assembly. The successive chief ministers should implement the agreements and should not neglect or oppose, if they do not rescind it legally. He said the present Chief Minister’s approach and action of delay have already caused huge losses to people of state, particularly the farmers who are on agitation mode and the high court has in its verdict said the agreements with farmers were still valid and should be implemented. The veteran CPI leader said the Jagan Mohan Reddy government should accept the high court order to pursue Amaravati as state capital and also ensure justice to all farmers. XC VV ING
