Country needs more doctors than political leaders: Sule

Pune, Apr 13 : The country needs more doctors than leaders of political parties, said Supriya Sule, NCP MP, on Wednesday. Speaking at the induction ceremony of the Symbiosis Medical College for women, she said, “Whenever I meet a doctor in the Parliament, I always ask ‘what you are doing here’? This country needs more doctors and not leaders. There should not be a shortage of doctors in the country because a concept of healthy nation can only be possible if we have competent doctors in the country.” Sule further said, “As the people’s representative, we politicians set goals for the development of the society, however, its implementation comes from the educated people like doctors and through the educational institutions like Symbiosis. “So be prepared to deliver the best you can and you can do it with the help of quality education. Never forget moral values while serving the people,” she advised the students.
