Lucknow, February 17: Danish Ansari, a minister in the Uttar Pradesh government, has sharply responded to statements made by the Congress party regarding the ‘India AI Impact Summit 2026’. He described the remarks from Congress leaders as superficial and indicative of their political frustration.
In a recent conversation, Ansari emphasized that the world is advancing towards artificial intelligence and a digital revolution, with India poised to lead this global transformation. He criticized Congress for opposing the AI seminar held in Delhi, stating that such actions reveal their negative mindset. He accused the party of being indifferent to the nation’s development and prosperity, suggesting that they engage in politics of dissent solely for political gain.
Ansari also condemned Congress’s protests in Lucknow against government initiatives like ‘VB: Ji Ram Ji’ and others. He claimed that the party is running a ‘spread lies’ campaign, attempting to mislead the public. According to him, Congress has consistently tried to steer the country in the wrong direction, and its attitude has not been in the interest of the nation or its people. He expressed confidence that the citizens of the state and the country would no longer fall for such tactics.
Additionally, he reacted to the Samajwadi Party’s announcement to approach the Election Commission regarding the Form-7 issue. Ansari acknowledged that it is the right of any party to approach the commission, but he criticized the practice of confusing the public through political stunts when no misuse is evident. He alleged that opposition parties lack a solid agenda, leading them to inflate unnecessary issues.
Targeting the Samajwadi Party, he noted that their social media efforts are misleading the public. He urged party leaders to observe the ground realities, where they would clearly see law and order, development, and progress in the state. Under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s leadership, Uttar Pradesh is rapidly advancing in development, a fact that seems to unsettle the opposition.
