Congress Strategizes for Punjab Assembly Elections, Focuses on Public Issues: Bhupesh Baghel

New Delhi, May 30: Political parties are ramping up preparations for the upcoming Punjab Assembly elections. In light of this, Congress held a crucial meeting with senior leaders to discuss strategic matters.

Congress leader Bhupesh Baghel addressed the media, stating that an extensive strategic meeting took place with the party leadership regarding the Punjab elections. Leaders from all provincial levels met with Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, and Congress General Secretary K.C. Venugopal to discuss electoral preparations in detail.

Baghel emphasized that with only a few months remaining until the Punjab Assembly elections, serious discussions on strategic matters were necessary. He noted that the party must unite and engage with the people of Punjab, as the state is vital not only for Congress but for the entire country.

To ensure electoral victory, the party leadership has instructed necessary steps to be taken. Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, and K.C. Venugopal have conveyed a message to all leaders to strengthen the organization and prepare for the elections promptly.

Baghel remarked, “K.C. Venugopal made this clear four months ago, so there is no need to reiterate. We need to prepare for the Punjab elections and move forward unitedly. We will address issues of corruption in the Bhagwant Mann government, the deteriorating law and order situation, and the central government’s attitude that is harming the entire state of Punjab.”

He stated that Congress will engage with the public on critical issues affecting Punjab. All leaders are aligned on this approach, and actions will be based on these discussions.
